Head Ecstasy

Fall back everyone

I had a pretty productive weekend, got some studying done, painted the chairs in the dining room, good times.

About once a year I get this craving, it is insatiable, I just can't stop myself, I have to pop it in the player and listen to... Rent. All of it. Singing the entire score, everyone's lines. It's great. Realized that my cd is now so worn it skips at the end just when La vie Boheme is coming on. Proud to say I still know all the words.

Go to
Rob's webpage to listen to tracks off his new album. The first single is Feel and I have to admit, it is good. Damn good. Congrats Mr. Williams.

Went to the mall with Pete Friday, we got head ecstasy.

What the F&%K!!

Some guy scratched my car in ghetto B'more today. Goddamnit. Completly not my fault. The idiot was reversing on a one way street and despite my leaning on my horn, proceeded to back straight into my car. Noice.

What X-Men Character are You? I actually think it describes me pretty well.

Thursday went to see
Badly Drawn Boy at the 9:30 Club in DC with Matt and Sea. Adam Green from the Moldy Peaches opened for him and was flippin hysterical. His melodies are lovely but his words are so dirty, it's great stuff. Damon came on around 9:30, cigarette in hand and hat on head. He sang a bunch of songs, ending the show at 11:40, exactly the time we had to get out of there to catch the last metro home. Some British guy in the audience at one point actually started heckling Damon who promptly challenged him to a fight, after the show of course. It was all quite good.

And I should be studying for two midterms I have next week. Oh well.

Still Alive

I have once again rejoined the land of the living. I even made a lovely new playlist to celebrate. Past two weeks have been dedicated (well pretty much) to studying and writing papers. But I am done with all that junk till the 21st. I think. Who really knows anymore.

9-5 by Dolly Parton, best song EVER! yes I did just say that... I know all the words, get over it.

Two months till my birthday. I really don't even want to think about it. I am officially past all the good birthday years so is it really worth mentioning
